Well, that’s why we have for you today some important details about his life and political career. Keep reading.

Joe Biden or Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., is an American politician, who, before running for the presidential elections in 2020, served as Vice President to Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017. Prior to that, he served as the Senator for the US state of Delaware for 36 straight years from 1973 to 2009. He became the sixth youngest senator in the US history when Biden was elected to the Senate in 1972.

Before becoming the presidential candidate for the Democratic Party in 2020, Joe Biden ran for the nomination in 1998 and 2008. However, he was unsuccessful during these attempts. He has played key role in negotiating with congressional Republicans to pass crucial legislations like 2010 Tax Relief Act, Budget Control Act 2011 and more. Biden’s running mate is US Senator Kamala Harris of the California state.

If elected, Joe Biden would become the oldest president on inauguration in the history of the United States of America. Currently, this record is held by Donald Trump who was 70 years and 220 days old at the time of taking charge as the president of the USA.

Biden has currently won 264 electoral votes in the race to 270. He is also leading in the states of Nevada, which has 6 electoral votes, enough to make Joe Biden the next president of the United States of America.
